WIMP 1620 AM Radio is a legal, unlicensed broadcast station operating by guidelines set by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules in Part 15 which is part of the FCC’s rules and regulations located in Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
We broadcast with a Talking House AM transmitter with an FCC Identifyer DLB5LTT98. This device complies with Part 15 of FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1) This device may not cause harmful interference.
2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may result in undesired operation and negatively impacting its broadcast audio, signal and range.
The total power output of the transmitter does not exceed 100 milliwatts or one tenth of one watt of power. The antenna and ground lead combined do not exceed 10 feet or 3 meters.
